James Rodriguez has not trained with Real Madrid on Tuesday afternoon and is not expected to be in the squad to face Celta Vigo as he’s sidelined with a sore right foot.
He’s been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer as reports in Spain claim a deal has already been agreed and is set to be announced next week.
Sky Sports have also reported the situation, claiming Man United have been offered the chance to sign Rodriguez as he’s been unimpressed with his lack of game time under Zinedine Zidane this season.
Should Ed Woodward pay the asking price of around £64 million, the Columbian will be allowed to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

He looked to all four corners of the Bernabeu while applauding fans following Real’s 4-1 win over Sevilla and it’s convinced supporters he will be leaving this summer.
He cost the Spanish club £71 million in 2014 after his sensational appearances for Columbia in the World Cup and they’ll be hoping to reclaim most of that in his sale.
Rodriguez wants to play more regularly and hopes are he completes a move to Manchester because he has the ability to become a top player at Old Trafford.
