Manchester United target Nemanja Matic has been left out of Chelsea’s 25-man squad for their pre-season tour of China and Singapore.
He has been training alone at Chelsea’s training base at Cobham and he has continuously been linked with a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Antonio Conte completed the £40m signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and he seems set to take Matic’s place as N’Golo Kante’s partner in midfield.
The Chelsea boss included a number of academy products in his squad, but opted to leave Matic out, hinting towards his exit from the club this summer.
He played a vital role in Mourinho’s third title win at Chelsea in 2015 and was even important in Conte’s success last season, but it seems like his career at Stamford Bridge has come to and end following his latest snub.
Chelsea’s squad in full: Thibaut Courtois, Willy Caballero, Eduardo, Marcin Bulka
