Crystal Palace manager, Frank de Boer, has confirmed Timothy Fosu-Mensah will be training with them on Wednesday as he completes his season-long loan move from Manchester United this summer.
De Boer has been looking to bolster his defensive options and the 19-year-old will be a brilliant addition at Selhurst Park for the 2017-18 season.
He has an incredible amount of potential and if he manages to cement his place in the first-team, will pick up plenty of experience trying to defend against the better sides in the league, helping him excel his game.
Speaking about the squad, de Boer confirmed reports after Fosu-Mensah completed a medical on Tuesday.
“There is truth in the reports, yes,” he said.
“We think he will train with us tomorrow. It’s a season-long loan.”
Fosu-Mensah is highly-regarded at Old Trafford and all he needs is first-team football to excel his game, something Jose Mourinho knew he wouldn’t be able to offer at Old Trafford this season.
He has the potential to be a top player and hopes are he does well out on loan at Palace because he deserves to be playing more often.
