Ivan Perisic’s agent, Fali Ramadani, allegedly met with Manchester United on Thursday to provide a brief on the situation with Inter Milan, according to reports.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer as the Portuguese boss had identified him as a player who could have been signed on a cheap with Inter previously looking to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, however, after raising the money through smaller deals, they have been set on keeping him at the San Siro.
Perisic is valued at around £55m and Inter are only willing to negotiate if Anthony Martial would be going the other way, which will never be sanctioned.
FCInterNews.it claim Ramadani visited Mourinho Man United’s chiefs to update them about the situation.
Although a deal has stalled as both clubs fail to agree on a fee, United have not ended their interest in Perisic and will look to sign him before the end of the window.
He would have been a brilliant addition at United but Mourinho has prepared himself to only accept three new signings this summer even though he preferred four and he’ll have to work with his options.
