Jose Mourinho has explained how Manchester United will beat Leicester City at Old Trafford this weekend.
Man United have kicked off the new Premier League season in fine form with successive 4-0 victories over West Ham United and Swansea City.
His players have been brilliant, proving they have what it takes to challenge in the Premier League and Champions League this campaign as the Portuguese boss hopes to take United back to winning ways.
Speaking about the clash, Mourinho believes it’ll be a tough clash against Craig Shakespeare’s men.
“[Leicester’s] game against Arsenal ended with a defeat but could have ended with a victory,” said Jose.
“At home, they won comfortably [against Brighton last weekend], midweek [against Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup] they changed their whole team and they won very comfortably with players that probably, some of them they are not even going to be on the bench tomorrow. So, I think they are back to their normality and, for me, their normality is a very difficult match for us tomorrow.”
“I think they are the same team as they were two seasons ago. Are they going to be champions again? Honestly, I don’t think so because there are many teams that I don’t think all of them are going to fail. But I think in terms of their qualities, I think they are the same team and they are playing exactly the same way they played before.”
United have been brilliant so far and hopes are they can keep up the great form against Leicester as they look to send a message to their rivals.
The players look full of confidence and it’ll be a great clash as Leicester have also looked decent heading into the new season.
