Romelu Lukaku continued his excellent scoring form on Tuesday night as Manchester United comfortably beat FC Basel 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League.
The Belgian striker now has 11 goals in his last nine matches for club and country, including friendlies.
Under pressure to perform after Man United paid £75million, Lukaku has responded in fantastic fashion, dispatching goals with ease on a regular basis.
His contribution to the team, too, has been excellent, as his stats from Tuesday’s win show.

Manager José Mourinho has repeatedly hailed Lukaku’s all-round game since joining United, not only his goalscoring contributions.
Lukaku’s physicality allows him to hold up the ball, but his intelligence and passing ability has surprised some, given the frustrations aired by Everton fans watching the 24-year-old last season.
The United striker hasn’t recorded an assist yet in a red shirt, but his role in attacks and goals is unquestionable, even when it’s not him finishing the chance.
Lukaku’s started every game so far this season for Man United, and with seven games in September, it will be intriguing to see where the Belgium international is rested by Mourinho. It’s likely he’ll finally be given a break by the Portuguese next week when United face Burton Albion in the EFL Cup.
His relationship with Marcus Rashford has blossomed immediately, playing off each other in central areas, while Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are all benefitting from Lukaku’s quality, and vice versa. It’s been a fantastic start to his United career.
