Paul Pogba has continued to make big steps in his rehabilitation process following last month’s hamstring injury, posting a video of himself going through a variety of exercises in the gym.
The Frenchman made a sumptuous start to the 2017/18 campaign, claiming two goals, two assists and a ‘Player of the Month’ award for August.
But it was cruelly cut short by a hamstring injury sustained against FC Basel that looks set to keep him out until November.
However, the 24-year-old has revealed through a series of Instagram stories that he is making excellent progress, running on a treadmill, working on his sidesteps, putting in some cardio work, and of course going into the dreaded ice bath at the end of it all.

I’m no physiotherapist or doctor, so I cannot accurately tell you whether the exercises Pogba is currently going through are standard for this stage of rehabilitation, or whether the 24-year-old is now actually ahead of schedule and could be set for a return just before the November international break.
What I can say, however, is that the latter is possible. Especially in the case of Pogba. He is, after all, a superb athlete with the right mindset, and that could prove to be important over the next couple of weeks as he hopefully resumes training with the first team squad.
