Marcus Rashford is the most exciting player in the Manchester United side, believes club legend Ryan Giggs.
The 19-year-old is responsible for getting fans off their seat at Old Trafford, and there is a buzz around the stadium when he gets on the ball, Giggs has commented.
After an incredible start to his Man United career, scoring in a multitude of big games and winning three trophies before the age of 20, Rashford must continue working hard to reach the world-class level he is aspiring to, according to Giggs.
“Marcus has had a fantastic start to his career,” Giggs said on Sky Sports. “He now has to go onto that next level and keep learning in every training session and every game.
“Marcus is one of those players who – I have been to Old Trafford a couple of times this season – as soon as he gets the ball you can feel it in the crowd,” he said.
“You can feel the excitement. He gets you off the edge of your seat.”
Giggs is right. Rashford, as well as United’s other young striking prospect, Anthony Martial, send a buzz going around Old Trafford when they pick up the ball. The sense of unpredictability that something is about to happen is unavoidable with the talent of the two forwards.
Rashford is developing wonderfully under Jose Mourinho, despite worries over a lack of gametime for the youngster when Mourinho arrived at the club in 2016.
