Alexis Sanchez will have a medical at Manchester United in the next two days, it has been revealed.
The Chilean forward will undergo tests at the club’s Carrington Aon Training Complex within the next 48 hours as he comes ever closer to signing for Man United.
Sanchez looks set to join the Reds in a swap-deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way to sign for Arsenal.
Craig Norwood, a reliable source on Twitter who is a freelance photographer, revealed on social media on Saturday afternoon that the club are hoping to bring Sanchez in for his medical this weekend.

The Chilean forward was expected to join United’s local title rivals Manchester City either this month, for around £20m, or in the summer on a free transfer, with his contract expiring at the Emirates this summer.
However, United swooped in a couple of days into January and the story has gathered pace continually since then. It initially seemed as if Sanchez would be signed for around £35m, but Armenian attacking midfielder Mkhitaryan will go the other way.
The London Evening Standard report that Arsenal are attempting to hold out for £10m + Mkhitaryan to allow Sanchez to join United, while others suggest the deals could end up being separate to avoid the complications involved in a swap deal.
Mkhitaryan has reportedly reached ‘total agreement’ with Arsenal after discussing his deal at what looks to be his new club for a number of days.
It now seems that Sanchez is just days away from being announced as a United player, and will be a fantastic addition to the Reds.
