The transfer window is just over a month away and thoughts will soon start to centre around which players Jose Mourinho ought to bring in over the summer.
The boss landed the signatures of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic last summer, although failed to secure winger Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.
He has stressed the need to focus on bolstering his midfield and full-back options this time around, insisting he had no need for any further attackers after signing Alexis Sanchez in January.
We asked supporters on Twitter to name the three players they most want Manchester United to sign over the summer. Here are some of the responses.

One constant which emerges here is, of course, Alex Sandro from Juventus: a rapid, agile, energetic, technically gifted left-back who would provide the ideal antidote to Ashley Young‘s lack of mobility or thrust in that role this season.
Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic were predictably popular shouts. The former looks destined for a move to Manchester while Milinkovic-Savic will have a price tag north of £100m in the summer following an excellent season in Serie A.
Some more hopeful supporters have demanded Toni Kroos from Real Madrid, while very few have cited any attacking players. Supporters don’t often reach a consensus but one has emerged here: that United have to prioritise left-back and central midfield in the summer.
