Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly willing to sell Ander Herrera to Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Spaniard has been a shock target for the famous club and with his contract not having too much time remaining on it, he could be a cheap buy.
The Spanish club are currently managed by Herrera’s former manager Ernesto Valverde with the pair spending time together at Atletico Bilbao.
United haven’t taken the option of extending the midfielder’s contract as of yet and it appears they’re open to seeing him leave Old Trafford.
The 28 year old was crowned the club’s player of the year last season but having suffered with injuries this campaign, he’s struggled to make an impact.
According to the Express, El Gol Digital report that Jose has given the green light to sell Ander to the La Liga giants should they still be interested.
The former Atletico Bilbao man was initially brought into the club by former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal but rather ironically he didn’t show his best form until he featured under Mourinho.
However, it seems the Portuguese boss is willing to cut ties and would not stop Barcelona from getting their transfer target.
