Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is exploring the possibility of a move to Paris Saint Germain for his client, according to reports.
The Frenchman was linked with an Old Trafford exit back in February and March after Jose Mourinho demoted him to the bench on several occasions.
Pep Guardiola revealed last month that Raiola, described quite bluntly as a “s***bag” by Sir Alex Ferguson, had offered Pogba to Manchester City in January.
And according to the Daily Record‘s Duncan Castles, the French champions are interested in Pogba and Raiola is exploring the possibility of finding his client a new club following the dispute which arose with Mourinho earlier this year.
Raiola is an agent who will do more or less anything in order to get the best deal for his client, ensuring a fat wad of money comes his way as well, and this practice often entails angering most of the football world in the process.
The personal preferences of his clients appear to be a matter of secondary concern. Raiola has a very shrewd tactic of unearthing a very good deal – or at least creating the potential for one – and getting the player on board. And Mourinho, along with Ed Woodward and other senior figures at the club, simply cannot let that happen.
