Manchester United fans furious with Jose Mourinho for performance vs West Ham

Manchester United fans couldn’t hold back their anger towards Jose Mourinho for his side’s performance vs West Ham in the uninspiring 0-0 draw.

The Portuguese manager made numerous changes to the starting XI and even changed the formation in a bid to extract more from his players.

The likes of Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay and Victor Lindelof were handed starts while Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard were asked to lead the line in a 3-5-2 formation.

It’s not the first time United used the formation but it was a bit of a defensive one to start with considering expectations were on the side to beat the Hammers.

In the end, the match concluded with a bore draw and there’s no doubt Mourinho will be furious with his players for their disappointing display.

The debate about whether the players or the manager’s at fault for the performances Manchester United fans have recently witnessed has been going on for a while.

Inconsistency has been a trait all season long and it’s a trait that Jose has attempted to address but failed to solve.

Either way United can be happy that they’ll conclude the season in second place but they have a hell of a job to do to become champions next season.
