AS Monaco star Fabinho has teased Manchester United fans by claiming it could be his last match for his side ahead of a potential move in the summer.
The Brazilian has long been linked with Jose Mourinho’s side and has been flirting with the prospect of switching Ligue 1 for the Premier League.
The Portuguese manager also pulled the leg of supporters by insisting he would love to bring in a player from the same nation of Fabinho in the upcoming summer transfer window.
United have also been linked with other Selecao stars such as Juventus’ Alex Sandro and Chelsea’s Willian but after what Fabinho said, it seems more likely it’s him who will come to Old Trafford.
Whether a deal can be concluded or not is yet to be seen but it certainly helps when a player publicly admits he wants out.
Fabinho: “Last game? Maybe… I have already talked about what I want to do. Sometimes I speak too much about that, and it gives the impression that that is what I am concentrated on. We have an important match, that is all that matters.” #mufc [MEN] pic.twitter.com/lOnUNALQ99

Mourinho has previously insisted he’s happy with attacking stars and will focus this transfer windows efforts on revamping the midfield and defence.
The former Real Madrid manager even discussed the need to replace Michael Carrick who is set to retire at the end of the current season.
Though Fabinho isn’t a like for like replacement of the veteran in terms of style, he does play the same position which could see him excel.
