Chelsea star Gary Cahill has warned his teammates of Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku though he believes they’ll have to keep an eye out on all of the club’s players.
The two clubs will clash for the last time this season in the FA Cup final with the Belgian being rushed to fitness in order to play a part in the fixture.
Lukaku’s latest injury update is that he’s part of the squad who’ve travelled to London but there are some sections reporting he’s not fully fit and will play through the pain barrier instead.
Footballers take injections all the time to numb the pain in order to feature for important matches and it appears the former Everton man is prepared to do the same.
Cahill knows Romelu from their time together with the Blues and it’s clear what the Englishman thinks of the talented striker.
According to 101 Great Goals, Gary said to Standard Sport: “He’s [Lukaku] gone on to be a top player. I’ve played and trained against him loads of times and it’ll be difficult [on Saturday].
“Everyone can see his attributes: pace, power, strength and he can finish. His goal-scoring record is very good.”
Should Romelu Lukaku be even 50% fit then there will be no surprise that Jose Mourinho would start him given how talismanic he is to the team.
