Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has confirmed that Manchester United target Anderson Talisca will move to a Premier League club in the summer.
The forward has enjoyed an impressive couple of seasons on loan at the Turkish side from Benfica, netting 37 goals in all competitions and impressing in the Champions League group stages.
Reports from Turkey have claimed that Man United struck a preliminary agreement with the forward last week, although there is no official agreement with Benfica.
But Gunes has fanned the flames surrounding Talisca’s future by confirming he would move to a Premier League club in the summer, only to stop short at saying which one.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes: “I am sorry that Talisca is gone, he’ll be a competitor to Cenk Tosun in the Premier League. I can’t tell (which club he’s joining), but he could be a rival of Cenk Tosun.” #mufc [MEN] pic.twitter.com/vhYaxWJVZv

Do you think Talisca will be on his way to United this summer? You can check out a new way of looking at odds with bitcoin bookmakers.
Mourinho looks set to lose Marouane Fellaini in the summer and will, in turn, look to add a player capable of matching his height and power in the box. And this is where Talisca comes in: 6’3, languid yet aggressive, gangly yet surprisingly quick, scoring goals for fun and playing at a high intensity.
His attitude problems, well documented during his time at Benfica, serve as a cause for concern given Mourinho’s history with players who don’t consistently pull their weight. But there is a directness – a sense of fight – to his game which the 55-year-old obviously admires and wants to add to an attack which has lacked killer instinct too often this term.
