Eric Bailly has demonstrated his class by sending a message of support to Liverpool keeper Loris Karius following his nightmare Champions League final performance.
The keeper gave Real Madrid the lead by somehow rolling the ball right into the path of Karim Benzema, who stuck out his foot and saw the ball trickle into the net.
But the worst was yet to come: with Real 2-1 up, Gareth Bale fired a speculative drive from 30 yards right at Karius, only for the German to fumble the ball into the net as if he were trying to catch snow.
And Bailly has taken to Instagram to send a message of support to a rival amid a cacophony of fury being sent his way by Liverpool fans.

Karius absolutely deserves to be laughed at. He deserves to be called out for two massive errors at a time when he had to be faultless. He would not have any complaints if he were to be dropped from the Liverpool team altogether.
But one thing he, nor anybody, should have to contend with is outright abuse. The amount of death threats sent to him and, worse, his family by his own supporters has reached a point where the police have begun an investigation.
So much for all that ‘You’ll never walk alone’ spiel.
