Manchester United’s latest signing Diogo Dalot looks excited to be in the club’s famous kit after completing his transfer.
The full-back was bought by Jose Mourinho from Porto despite not making too many appearances in the first team.
The Portuguese manager lauded his new signing by claiming Dalot is the best in the position for the generation that he represents.
United’s need for a new right-back has been evident pretty much since Rafael da Silva left under Louis van Gaal‘s management.
Antonio Valencia will now finally have the competition necessary to bring the best out of him as well as an heir to take over once he’s retired.

Diogo’s biggest attribute that will help the Red Devils though is his crossing as fans have grown increasingly frustrated with their players’ inability to cross.
Quite often Mourinho’s men would build up a decent attack that just needs a precise cross in order for the chance to be converted by Romelu Lukaku.
Unfortunately the Belgian has been let down multiple times but there’s hope Manchester United’s latest signing can change all of that.
Diogo Dalot is also a welcome upgrade on Matteo Darmian who was never likely going to challenge for a first team spot.
