Manchester United’s hopes to offload Matteo Darmian have hit a snag after Juventus continue to stall negotiations.
There have been several developments on the Italian’s departure with many fans having expected the deal to be concluded weeks ago.
However, there appears to be some issues that have stopped the deal from progressing despite it being said that Darmian has already agreed personal terms.
The Italian giant’s have been chasing the versatile defender’s signature since the winter transfer window but it seems they’re unwilling to go over the top to get their man.
United will be especially keen to get rid of the former Torino man given how they recently completed the signing of Diogo Dalot.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Matteo’s move could to Juventus could still happen despite Joao Cancelo’s expected transfer but they’re looking to lower the Red Devils’ asking price.
The Serie A side have been known to be tough in negotiations, always selling high and buying low but it appears that Jose Mourinho is unwilling to budge.
To be fair the price that’s being quoted is a pretty low figure but it seems that Juventus are unwilling to match it nonetheless, perhaps due to wanting to spend their budget elsewhere.
