Manchester United star Paul Pogba has reacted to France’s World Cup win by posting a heartfelt message to his followers on social media, stating he’s just a small piece of a much bigger picture.
The former Juventus man was instrumental in his nation’s run to becoming champions of the world in what many consider to be the best tournament in recent memory.
The likes of Spain, Argentina, Portugal and Brazil all fell below expectations but it was the Les Bleus side who rose to the challenge to win the competition for the second time in their history.
Not only was Pogba consistently performing at a high level for his country but he also scored in the final against Croatia in the 4-2 win and was named man of the match.
Despite playing such a big role in Didier Deschamps side, the talented midfielder downplayed it all and paid tribute to the French fans.

Paul has seemingly grown in ability and maturity tenfold since the start of the World Cup and United fans can’t wait to see him in action for them.
There’s huge expectations on the Frenchman to now lead his club side to Premier League glory in a similar way he lead his nation to the World Cup.
