Manchester United star Ander Herrera has revealed which of his teammates he believes are game changers and why he’s not concerned if there are a few absences due to the strength of the squad.
Jose Mourinho travelled with a group to the United States of America for pre-season that was a little lighter in quality than usual due to the World Cup.
Many of United’s regulars such as Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba are not currently present as they’re away for their holidays.
They, along with others, will be joining up with the squad at various dates depending on how well their respective nation’s performed at the World Cup.
This could mean some of them won’t be fit enough in time for the Red Devils’ first few Premier League fixtures but Herrera is not concerned.
Herrera: "When you have players like Anthony, like Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez, those kind of players that can change the game. If one of them cannot play, we have three or four more so we have lots of options.” #mufc [Sky]

Manchester United’s depth has looked better than in recent years but it could still arguably be improved upon with some deadweight still floating around.
Michael Carrick has also retired with just Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant coming in to Old Trafford so far this transfer window.
