Both Andreas and Joel Pereira are set to sit down with their agent in Miama this week and discuss what their plans are for the 2018-19 season.
Joel has been getting plenty of game time during Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the United States and Jose Mourinho has already confirmed that he’ll be sent on loan for even more vital first-team experience.
Andreas has also played a big part throughout pre-season and has impressed supporters in a deeper role than he’s previously been used in, leaving him in a good position to offer a good midfield option for Mourinho throughout the upcoming campaign.
The Man United manager has already confirmed he’s behind Nemanja Matic, Marouane Fellaini and Scott McTominay in the pecking order though which, to the annoyance of many fans, could see him leave on another loan spell.
According to Ciaran Kelly of the Manchester Evening News, there is interest from Spain and Italy in taking Joel on loan this season but the player’s preferred destination still seems to be unknown.
The general consensus amongst United supporters is that Andreas has done enough to prove he can make an impact in the first team over the next nine months, and the talks he’ll have with agent Kia Joorabchian over the coming days will see him come to a final decision on what to do.
