Manchester United have confirmed Axel Tuanzebe has rejoined Aston Villa on loan for the 2018/19 season.
The defender broke into the first team initially in January 2016 and has made a total of eight appearances for Man United.
He moved to Villa in January on loan but injuries and form issues restricted him to just five appearances in as many months.
But the club has confirmed that Tuanzebe will once again return to Birmingham for the entirety of the 2018/19 campaign.

Many supporters expected Tuanzebe to receive minutes at the back next season along with Timothy Fosu-Mensah. The pair have Premier League experience and impressed in pre-season – most notably in the first half against Liverpool.
A lack of additions in the full-back area – aside from Diogo Dalot, who won’t be available until September – over the summer, coupled with continued struggles to sign a central defender, appeared to open up opportunities for Tuanzebe, whose maturity on the ball and physical presence has led many to view him as a potential regular in the future.
But it looks as if Tuanzebe, following a frustrating 2017/18 season, has opted for minutes above anything. Supporters will just hope he avoids another frustrating stream of injures and, just like Andreas Pereira, matures as a player over the next nine months.
