Barcelona move on from interest in Manchester United’s Paul Pogba: report

Barcelona have reportedly made a decision on Manchester United star Paul Pogba, ending their interest in him.

The Spanish club were said to be huge fans of the Frenchman, particularly after his agent stirred up a storm but it seems they’re no longer going to chase his signature.

Pogba had previously admitted prior to his move to United that Real Madrid were also serious about making a transfer happen.

The midfielder was said to be pushing for the move to Barcelona to happen after his relationship broke down with Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager insisted he couldn’t be happier with his player in an effort to dismiss the reports.

According to Manchester Evening News, TEAMtalk report the La Liga giant has given up on Paul and will focus on their fourth choice Kevin Kampl instead after admitting defeat.

Good news for Mourinho but arguably even more so for fans who were concerned they could lose their star player.

There’s a reason the former Chelsea manager invested a then world record fee in his first season in charge of the club.

Pogba has had the whole United side built around him and even a change in formation to try and get the best out of him.
