Early squad news for Watford vs Manchester United

Manchester United resume action after the international break with a trip to Vicarage Road for a clash with an in-form Watford side.

Luke Shaw, despite suggestions he could play, has not travelled with the Man United squad after suffering concussion against Spain last weekend.

Ander Herrera has also been ruled out with an injury, while Marouane Fellaini, who impressed against Burnley, is a doubt.

New signing Diogo Dalot and Marcos Rojo were both expected to recover from long-term injuries in time for the clash with Javi Garcia’s side but Mourinho confirmed yesterday that they needed another week to make a full return to fitness.

Marcus Rashford‘s name was on everybody’s lips this week but the youngster will not feature as he serves the first his three game suspension after the incident with Phil Bardsley at Turf Moor.

Here is the full United squad which has travelled to the outskirts of London to play Watford:

De Gea, Romero

Valencia, Darmian, Bailly, Smalling, Lindelof, Young

Matic, McTominay, Fred, Fellaini, Pereira, Pogba, Mata, Lingard

Sanchez, Martial, Lukaku
