Guillem Balague has revealed huge details on Paul Pogba’s potential future on Manchester United, stating he prefers to stay right where he is at the moment.
The media enjoyed writing reports claiming the Frenchman was on his way out of Old Trafford though there remains to be seen any official word on those rumours.
Pogba was linked with the likes of Barcelona who are also said to be interested in bringing him in with even Lionel Messi personally requesting the transfer.
Balague though believes the circus began when the former Juventus man’s agent put the rumours out and the player himself actually wants to stay put for the time being.
United fans would absolutely love to hear such a thing being said as it would end the uncertainty to his future but it will have to be more official than the pundit.
According to the Express, Guillem said: “I think he would prefer to sort things out at Manchester United first of all.
“What I know is Barcelona have not approached anybody relating to Pogba. It was all his agent, Mino Raiola, putting things out there.
“But, if he does become available, they will be interested.”
In an ideal world Pogba would deny any reports linking him with a move away and would commit his future to Manchester United.
Unfortunately that rarely happens in the modern game but at least fans can rest easy knowing there are still a few years more to the end of his contract.
Paul can make a lasting legacy at United if he wished but first he’ll have to prove himself for them as he did for France.
