Jose Mourinho: Not easy to get to Juventus’ level

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho had some more bad news for the fans after admitting it’s not easy to get on Juventus’ level.

The Portuguese manager had to endure another loss at home with the Italian giant largely in control of the match.

It was only a 1-0 loss but fans were disappointed with how the players’ performances seemed to drop once more.

Mourinho was almost forced into not making any substitutions to his side as he didn’t have any real attacking options other than youngster Tahith Chong.

Nonetheless, United will have to pick up the pace if they still want to have any kind of hope of getting out of the group stages of the Champions League.

When Jose was asked if his side can get on Juventus’ level he said: “To go to the Juventus level? Barcelona? Real Madrid? How can you reach that level? Manchester City level? It’s not so easy.”

Supporters would definitely be disappointed to hear that but it’s probably more of a shot at the club’s board instead.

Mourinho obviously wanted and still wants to bring in plenty of fresh faces to a side that looks short of confidence.

Hopefully those in charge of club transfers will provide him with what he needs but it will be a difficult market, particularly in January.
