Manchester United fans were absolutely livid with Jose Mourinho’s tactical decisions following the 3-1 loss to Liverpool.
The Portuguese manager opted for a back five and continued to drop Paul Pogba with both decisions backfiring as his side failed to come away from Anfield with any points.
United were immediately put on the back-foot with the home side taking the game to their opponents right away.
Even Mourinho seemed to regret his formation as he brought on Marouane Fellaini at half-time to attempt to switch things around.
Supporters have become increasingly frustrated by the former Real Madrid boss and are almost counting down the days to his dismissal.
This is absolutely pathetic. No intention to take it to Liverpool. Olè’s from Anfield and Mourinho’s leaving Pogba on the bench after endless misplaced paces from our midfielders.
He wants the sack, so give it to him.

“Manchester United don't have a central midfield player who can pass, play on the turn and pass.”
Yes, they do. His name is Paul Pogba and José Mourinho refuses to use him stubbornly whilst convincing fans he's right.

Mourinho's conservative approach here cedes play to Liverpool and dependent on all bounces of the ball going your way. They didn't.

The lack of defensive urgency from Manchester United is scandalous.
How has Mourinho not understood that inviting pressure onto his defenders is never going to end well?

This is what happens when you live off of lobbed balls for 90 minutes, Mourinho can take his “counter attacking” football and get the hell out of Manchester.

Mourinho is the virus..

The Red Devils’ poor defending was once again on display as Sadio Mane benefitted from Ashley Young‘s reluctance to chase him to put Liverpool in the lead.
Jesse Lingard capitalised from an error from Alisson which gave fans hope as they headed into the break with the tie balanced at 1-1.
However, Jurgen Klopp sent on Xherdan Shaqiri in the second half the substitute scored twice through deflections all despite David de Gea‘s good performance.
Nonetheless, time is certainly running out for Jose and it shouldn’t be a surprise if this result is the one that sees him lose his job.
