Manchester United ready to fight PSG for Jadon Sancho: report

Manchester United are reportedly ready to fight PSG for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

The Englishman has quickly climbed United’s wish-list for the summer having previously focused on more experienced players.

The likes of Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale were said to be the main targets in previous windows.

However, the Red Devils are keen on bringing Sancho in to complete a young front trio that would include Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

With PSG also hoping to sign the youngster, Dortmund could potentially ask for as much as they like.

Though it’s far too early to compare, Manchester United fans will remember the last time they built an attacking trio that lasted for years.

Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez brought plenty of success to Old Trafford with the first two brought in at a young age.

United can similarly build another trio that could last a decade in Martial, Rashford and Sancho.

A stronger offence would likely shift match odds in Man U’s favour. Bookmakers would also have to reconsider next season’s Premier League futures.

All three are equally comfortable with interchanging positions during play just as Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez were.

PSG already have Kylian Mbappe as their right-winger but there have been rumours floating he could be on a possible move to Real Madrid.
