Manchester United want Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United reportedly want sought-after Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka as they seek to bolster their squad this summer.

Much has been made of the United defence with many believing it’s the key area that needs to be strengthened before a title challenge is even realistic.

Wan-Bissaka has had an excellent season for the Eagles which has seen his stock rise with top European clubs circling him.

The youngster would represent the sort of ideal, long-term investment the Red Devils would be keen on making so it’s no surprise they’re interested.

Club veteran Antonio Valencia also appears to be on his way out this summer which leaves a spot open in the starting XI.

According to Shoot, the Sun report the Red Devils have joined the likes of Manchester City, Bayern and Arsenal in the race Aaron’s signature.

Diogo Dalot was signed just last summer which makes it a little difficult to imagine that Englishman is being targeted.

However, if Valencia does indeed leave and Ashley Young is moved back across to the left-back spot then that could make room.

Matteo Darmian is said to be on his way out finally so Manchester United could be interested in making Dalot and Wan-Bissaka battle it out for the right-back spot.
