Alexis Sanchez ‘desperate’ to leave Manchester United: report

Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez is reportedly desperate to leave the club as his fortunes continue to take a turn for the worse.

The Chilean has struggled to make an impact since his arrival but there was hope Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can inject a new lease of life into him.

Unfortunately Sanchez hasn’t managed to rediscover his form just yet and to make matters worse he’s suffered an injury that will keep him out for a while.

The former Barcelona man has long cut a frustrated figure and it’s now claimed he’s sick of his current surroundings.

United are also said to be happy to offload his wages given how much damage they’ve caused to the club’s structure.

According to Football 365, the Daily Star report that Alexis is so desperate to leave the Red Devils he’s willing to take a pay-cut to make matters easier for both parties.

The report is actually in conflict with a separate report that emerged days ago that stated the winger was determined to succeed at Old Trafford.

Given the reported time he will spend out injured this season, he may have to wait until the next campaign to make an impact.

Time is not on Alexis’ side as the 30 year old won’t be in his prime forever.
