Manchester United have reportedly been told how much they will need if they wish to sign Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Senegalese has been on the club’s wish-list for quite some time now and it seems they may finally get their man.
The centre-back is wanted by all the top European clubs and if he is set to leave Italy, there’s likely to be a bidding war.
Koulibaly had previously insisted he’s happy with Napoli but players have claimed that before and transferred elsewhere either way.
United’s need to invest in their defence hasn’t been a secret and the 27 year old would be the ideal signing.
According to Calcio Mercato, La Gazette Dello Sport reports that Napoli have put a €150m price-tag on Kalidou with the Red Devils ready to submit a bid.
Many have debated whether parting with such money is a good idea given the other positions that are in need of investment.
The Manchester United board are also said to have a preference for getting value for their money which would likely mean a younger talent brought in instead.
Having invested in Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof though, they may be hesitant in signing unproven quality once again.
