Key players set to return for Manchester United vs Watford

by Marwan Harraz

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has received a timely boost ahead of Manchester United’s upcoming clash against Watford.

The Norwegian had overseen back to back losses before the international break spared his situation getting any worse.

United lost to Arsenal in the Premier League, putting a serious dent in their top four aspirations before getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Wolves.

The break would’ve hopefully done the players a service and fans are keen to see Solskjaer end this small blip.

A win against Watford would be the perfect way to get momentum going again as the end of the season nears.

According to the Mirror, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are all deemed fit for the clash against Watford.

The majority of the players mentioned had pulled out of representing their countries as they were deemed injured.

However, many believed the Manchester United stars simply used it as an excuse to recover before pulling on their club shirts once again.

It is worth pointing out that many of them were actually carrying knocks as the squad has felt the fatigue of playing Ole’s high tempo, direct style of football.
