Former Manchester United star Javier Hernandez has reportedly urged PSV’s Hirving Lozano to complete a transfer this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be keen on a right-winger and the youngster fits the bill.
United are believed to be gearing up for a summer overhaul with the board willing to spend over £200m in support of the Norwegian.
Lozano would be one of the cheaper buys considering he’s coming from the Eredivisie and his young age.
Solskjaer is also said to be considering Jadon Sancho but he’s widely expected to cost far too much.
According to HITC, Teamtalk report that the Red Devils have been tracking Hirving who has been encouraged to join them by Hernandez.
Chicharito enjoyed a fruitful time at Old Trafford and he’s well loved by fans to this day.
Many feel the striker was unfairly moved on and could’ve been important for Manchester United had he been given the chance.
International teammates have been known to consult each other ahead of potential moves so it’s no surprise the two Mexicans have been in contact.
Though it wouldn’t have been a dealbreaker, it certainly could prove to be the deciding factor for Lozano as he considers his future.
