Manchester United dealt heavy Jadon Sancho blow: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United’s search for a right-winger has been dealt yet another blow with Jadon Sancho not being as available as previously reported.

The Englishman was believed to be at the top of the club’s transfer wishlist and with great reason.

Sancho is young, talented and full of potential which would mean United would have that position of the pitch sorted for the next ten years.

It was suggested the winger would be interested in a move and United were said to be gearing up for a huge bid.

Jadon would’ve been a perfect fit, forming part of a front young front three that includes Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

According to Sport Witness, SportBild report that Borussia aren’t interesting in selling until 2020 when they would then set an asking price of at least €100m.

Manchester United may be better off looking elsewhere as they can’t afford to wait until 2020 to get their man.

A cheaper, more available player could be brought in instead with the likes of PSV’s Hirving Lozano previously mentioned.

With many areas on the pitch needing investment for United, they will have to be smart with their money rather than blowing it all on one major signing.
