Manchester United open to offers for Romelu Lukaku: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United are reportedly open to receiving offers for star attacker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Belgian hasn’t looked as good as he did last season but he’s another one of the players who has enjoyed a resurgence since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment.

The striker initially wasn’t the Norwegian’s first choice frontman but he has since forced his way into the starting XI.

Lukaku did the dirty work, coming on as a substitute multiple times and even playing on the right-wing to accommodate Solskjaer favourite Marcus Rashford.

However, it appears that it wasn’t enough to convince his manager with the former Everton man still potentially on the list of players to depart.

According to the Telegraph, Romelu is open to a move and the Red Devils are willing to hear offers with the likes of Inter Milan, PSG and Bayern Munich all keen on a transfer.

There’s no doubt the 25 year old will feel he should be a starter for a top club somewhere in Europe given his goalscoring record so it makes sense he wouldn’t wish to play second fiddle to Rashford.

Lukaku would likely prove himself to be a top striker for whichever club he departs to and United will certainly miss his goals.
