Romelu Lukaku drops huge hint over his Manchester United future

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku has infuriated fans by flirting over a potential move to the Serie A so shortly after the defeat to Manchester City.

The Belgian played in the derby, coming on as a substitute but couldn’t make a noticeable impact despite working hard.

The former Everton man might rightfully be wondering why he isn’t starting of late given his initial goalscoring record under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Lukaku was one of the main reasons why United were successful in their historic comeback win over PSG, putting two past the French champions.

Nonetheless his future at the club has looked up in the air of late and he seemed to suggest he’s considering a move as well.

According to Sky Sports, Romelu said: “Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream.

“I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United.”

Supporters probably feel as though they wouldn’t miss him but his goalscoring record speaks for itself.

Still there are those who believe he can’t be a top striker due to his heavy first-touch or lack of link-up play.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes was one of those who felt Lukaku can’t be the man to lead the team back to the top, no matter however many goals he may score.

There’s no doubt wherever the forward goes to next, he will prove his ability so fans should may be careful for what they wish for.
