Manchester United looking to let go Alexis Sanchez and Marcos Rojo: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United have reportedly begun plans to let go of numerous stars this summer such as Alexis Sanchez and Marcos Rojo.

The club have previously struggled with selling their players due to the high wages they currently have on their bill.

One such example is Matteo Darmian who has publicly wished to leave for several windows now but no one is willing to the pay the transfer fee attached or the wages he’s asking for.

Sanchez has been linked with a move away for months now but his incredibly high salary has seen many previously interested parties bulk at the thought of signing him.

United appeared to be stuck with the poor decisions they’ve made but they’ve now hatched a plan to finally offload all their unwanted players.

According to Teamtalk, the Sun report that the Red Devils have created an emergency fund to pay off several stars to help them leave with Alexis and Rojo both specifically named.

The Chilean is arguably the only major player to have not improved under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s management so it’s no surprise to see him named.

Meanwhile Marcos has unfortunately never looked the same since the injury he suffered in the Europa League and he’s widely considered to be the most expendable defender.
