Manchester United step up chase for Aaron Wan-Bissaka: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United are reportedly stepping up their efforts to sign Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

The Englishman has emerged as a target of the club after it was believed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it a point to invest in the full-back positions.

The youngster is the kind of signing the Norwegian has previously spoken about making but fans were a little confused by the reports.

After all, Diogo Dalot was only just signed last summer with many believing he was the man to make the right-back spot his own.

Nonetheless, United have taken the next step in their decision to get Wan-Bissaka’s signature and so a transfer could be closer than originally anticipated.

According to the Evening Standard, the Red Devils are gearing up to place a £25m bid for Aaron despite it being far away from Crystal Palace’s evaluation of him which is believed to be £50m.

The number the London club want is a little high but it’s taking into consideration the potential the 21 year old has.

Manchester United will be hoping their stature and their participation in the Europa League next season will be enough to convince Wan-Bissaka to openly ask for a move in order to lower the asking price.
