Manchester United star Paul Pogba could yet be set for a move back to Juventus despite Real Madrid reportedly being the club closer to signing him.
Although the likes of PSG and Barcelona were interested in the Frenchman, it was believed only the Spanish capital club had a real shot at completing the transfer.
The midfielder has been the story of the summer so far despite United insisting he’s not for sale as they hope to build their future around him.
Pogba has left fans with mixed feelings with some sections believing an unhappy player shouldn’t be kept while others insisting the club can’t afford to lose his quality.
Whatever the case may be, the academy product shouldn’t be allowed to leave for anything less than his actual value.
According to the Mirror, Juventus feel they are a more attractive option to Paul than Real Madrid despite his £150m price-tag causing most clubs to baulk.
The 26 year old is said to be keen on a return to his former side but it’s more likely his future hinges on which side can cough up the cash.
Manchester United spent a lot of money on Pogba and it’s unlikely they’ll allow him to leave for anything but a profit.
