Christian Eriksen keen on switch to Manchester United: report

by Marwan Harraz

Tottenham star Christian Eriksen is reportedly keen on moving to Manchester United amid uncertainty over his future.

Not only does the Dane have just a year left on his contract, he also admitted to a desire for a new challenge despite his club reaching the Champions League final.

United are said to be searching for an attacking midfielder and central midfielder this summer so the 27 year old would fit in seamlessly.

Besides Eriksen’s obvious quality, his versatility would benefit Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, particularly if Paul Pogba leaves.

The London club are notoriously difficult to negotiate with however and so a deal may be further from happening than originally anticipated.

According to the Mirror, Christian is eyeing a move to the Red Devils after seeing his dream move to Real Madrid collapse, though Tottenham are said to want an unbelievable £100m.

The former Ajax man could potentially force his way out but it’s more likely he’ll just have to see out his contract.

There’s no doubt plenty of clubs would be lining up to sign Eriksen for free as there’s hardly a more obvious bargain on the market.

For now though, there’s still some way to go before any deal could happen and United are too preoccupied with other potential signings.
