Video: Paulo Dybala lands in Turin for crunch talks with Maurizio Sarri

by Leo Nieboer

Paulo Dybala has landed in Turin ahead of talks with Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri regarding his future.

Manchester United and Juventus have reportedly reached a complete agreement regarding a swap deal involving Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, who is desperate for a move to Italy.

The Argentine and his agent have both repeatedly signalled a desire to remain at The Old Lady, although there are doubts regarding his ability to suit Sarri’s tactical vision.

Dybala has been videoed arriving in Turin, with clarification over his next move expected to come in the next 48 hours.

Interestingly, Dybala will not train or have medical tests at Juventus today, although that may be a result of the Argentine being on three different flights over the last 24 hours on his return from holiday.

The consensus seems to be that Dybala does not want to leave Juventus. That has been the line from his agent throughout the year.

For United fans, the source of encouragement comes from the fact that, on a technical board level, everything seems to be agreed, with both sides (unlike with Harry Maguire) keen for the deal to happen.

As ever, though, the final decision lies with “La Joya”.
