Axel Tuanzebe won’t leave Manchester United for loan spell

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United youngster Axel Tuanzebe reportedly won’t leave the club in search of more minutes elsewhere as he did last season with Aston Villa.

Fans feared the arrival of Harry Maguire could’ve meant the English prospect would be sent out on loan to continue his development.

Many supporters feel Tuanzebe is ready for first-team football and should be ahead of the likes of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo in the pecking order.

Rather surprisingly, no centre-backs have been sold as of yet despite the summer transfer window slamming shut earlier today.

Departures can still happen with clubs abroad but that scenario happening seems pretty unlikely.

United are overstocked with seven players for two spots in the starting XI with Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly the remaining options in addition to the aforementioned names.

The composed Swede is most likely the player going to be partnered with Maguire which leaves the injury-prone Ivorian, Smalling, Jones, Rojo and Tuanzebe all fighting to be their back-ups.

Fans thought at least two of these players would be sold but as of now, nothing has happened in that regard.

A late report came in on Everton’s interest in Rojo but that quickly ended with no fruitful conclusion for either side.
