Manchester United fans were right to be concerned with Paul Pogba’s fitness after he was spotted limping out of Southampton’s stadium.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men could only muster up a disappointing 1-1 draw against their 10-men opponents with some supporters even criticising the sensational Frenchman’s performance.
It wasn’t a good day for several of the United players with only Daniel James standing out as he grabbed the game’s opener.
Despite the criticism levelled at Pogba, he is a crucial player for Solskjaer and the team’s midfield is significantly weaker without his presence.
There’s now an international break so hopefully France don’t risk playing him if he is badly injured.

In truth Pogba’s new role this season has hampered his performances a little although his teammates have also not been at their best.
Solskjaer has played the former Juventus man as part of a holding pair of midfielders in a 4-2-3-1 meaning fans don’t see him do what he does best which is essentially beating his man.
There have been calls for Pogba to be played as Manchester United’s number ten as supporters feel he would be absolutely devastating in such a role.
However, that would rely on Solskjaer’s other options stepping up and unfortunately there’s not much depth in midfield.
