Two Italian clubs are reportedly looking to sign Manchester United star Nemanja Matic after rumours emerged over his unhappiness at the club.
It was claimed the experienced Serbian is not looking to spend the twilight of his career as a benchwarmer and even came close to a loan move to AC Milan this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ended up opting not to part with Matic, perhaps due to the lack of incoming signings.
The tall defensive midfielder has only made one appearance out of the four fixtures United played so far, suggesting his future isn’t at Old Trafford.
Scott McTominay has been the one to partner with Paul Pogba so far this season but results haven’t been favourable to the pair.
According to InsideFutbol, both Inter Milan and Juventus are keeping an eye on Matic’s situation as they look to sign him from the Red Devils next summer.
Antonio Conte is said to be keen on a reunion with his former player while Juventus are also sniffing out the best deals around Europe.
Matic’s contract runs out next summer meaning he could technically be signed for free but it’s likely Manchester United will trigger his one year extension in order to protect his value.
