Manchester United’s travelling squad for West Ham announced

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United’s travelling squad for the clash against West Ham has been announced with notable absences including Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.

Of course the travelling squad isn’t the be all, end all so it’s possible any of the trio could still feature whether it’s from a starting position or off the bench.

However, that is unlikely so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be forced to navigate a tricky fixture without three of his regulars.

The good news is that Marcos Rojo, Fred and Mason Greenwood all put in good performances against Astana on Thursday so hopefully they can step in for Shaw, Pogba and Martial respectively.

The positive notable returnees are Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James who was believed to have picked up a knock vs Leicester City.

It will be interesting to see what line-up Solskjaer goes for, particularly with a thinning attacking force and so if United can pick up a win, it will be a good win no matter the performance.

The Norwegian legend watched on as his side scraped by Leicester City last weekend and it’s likely he’ll take a similar result until he has his full squad available to him once again.
