Manchester United keen on carrying out Ole Gunnar Solskjaer transfer plans

Manchester United are reportedly going to be busy this January transfer window despite their being concerns over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job.

The legendary Norwegian is under a lot of pressure currently as his side sit in 12th place with a huge clash against Liverpool just around the corner.

Should United lose that match, and they’re expected to, they could potentially drop into the relegation zone if other results go against them.

Such a thought was previously unthinkable and will likely lead to Solskjaer’s sacking regardless of how great his long-term plans for the club are.

Should he survive until January then it will at least give him the boost of reinforcing an underwhelming squad in the hopes that it will save his job.

Four signings seems completely undoable, especially considering how Manchester United only brought in three fresh faces all summer long.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire’s transfers in particular seemed to take ages to conclude so it’s tough to imagine the club’s incompetent board wrapping up four names.

A forward is definitely the priority however, as Anthony Martial’s absence has proven just how thin the squad is in an attacking sense.

Marcus Rashford has failed to impress in the young Frenchman’s absence and so a striker is needed.
