Paul Pogba has been pictured having a conversation with Zinedine Zidane during his time in Dubai.
The Frenchman has been in the Middle East over the international break as he works towards recovering from a foot injury sustained against Southampton.
Reports stated over the summer that Zidane had placed a strong emphasis on Real Madrid signing Pogba, but Man United stood firm in their determination to keep him.
It was therefore quite unnerving to see the 26-year-old holding a conversation with his fellow countryman on what looks like a nice private artificial breach of some kind.

But what did United fans really think about it?
Finally Pogba is off so we can really kick start the right culture and mentality at Manchester United.

Don’t care anymore. I’ve made peace with the fact this season is the end. We didn’t give him the team he needed to be successful and that’s on Woodward.
There’s no point in having Pogba in his prime and surrounding him w shit like Matic and Andreas. He’ll do well at Madrid.

Meh, don't really care if Pogba goes at this point, I've made peace with this ordeal. What's the point of having him at the club only surrounded by a bunch of bottle jobs. This is all on Woodward's hands @ManUtd

Agent zidane doing bits himself. I dont blame pogba if he leaves for Madrid. United these days only ruins footballers careers

He needs to leave ASAP if he wants to be remembered in football. If pogba leaves United I will clap him off he tried his best. Over the last 3 years he has pulled out similar numbers as KDB yet fans blame him for our mess, hope he goes so some fans can clock

In truth, the overall reaction was one of… acceptance. United fans no longer feel the need to defend Pogba with their lives on social media because it is assumed by most that, following another poor season all round for United as a club, the midfielder will seek a move to the Bernabeu, and rightly so.
He spoke of wanting a “new challenge” in June, but that would not have meant helping United stave off relegation. It would be a waste of talent and time for him to stay put at a club that is going nowhere.
