The duo grabbed a goal a piece and could’ve had at least a brace each had they not missed their penalties but it was more than just goals that delighted supporters.
The link-up play was easy on the eye and refreshing after the disappointing performances this season with United scoring more than once for the first time since their opening fixture.
Rashford has been rightfully heavily criticised of late but he certainly benefitted from being in the same starting XI as Martial once again.
The pair have real potential as a partnership and against Norwich it didn’t come alongside each other but rather from the left-wing and centre-forward positions respectively.

Honestly that’s probably our goal of the season from a team perspective. Absolutely stunning from Martial and Rashford, throwback to our good times that was! Beautiful. #mufc

Marcus Rashford (5G+2A) now has as many goal contributions as Aubameyang (7G+0A) this season in the league.
One of them is overrated and the other one is world class. pic.twitter.com/1r7ZsR1bLc

That is absolutely glorious between Martial and Rashford, Martial gives Utd a whole different attacking dimension, imperative he stays fit

There have been rumours that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering playing a 4-4-2 formation to allow the exciting duo to play alongside each other but there’s a debate to be made that they’re better off as is.
Manchester United will also be more capable of holding onto possession with a three man midfield if they carry on in their 4-2-3-1 formation.
