Nemanja Matic is reportedly attracting interest from Atletico Madrid and AC Milan ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Serbia international, who has been injured since October, is expected to leave Old Trafford in January after falling down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Jose Mourinho’s appointment as Tottenham Hotspur manager on Wednesday prompted a number of people to speculate that Matic would soon be off to North London to reunite with a man who clearly rates him.
However, according to The Athletic, it is Atletico and Milan who are interested in securing the 31-year-old’s signature.

Other reports have suggested that Inter Milan are also interested in Matic.
Thing is, while many believe selling this guy is the right thing, his departure on January 1 would mean that United have sold three midfielders over a year and not signed one replacement.
Should Matic go, it must be under the condition that proper investment in that area happens as well.
